Susan Salisbury presented two seminars featuring Macs to the California State Bar Convention:

"Create Your Own Law Practice Management Database;" and,

"Free and Low Cost Legal Research on the Internet."

California Bar Members in attendance received MCLE credit.

Ed Siebel coordinated with a local Apple retailer for us to use a dozen iMacs, a Lombard PB G3 and an InFocus LCD projector. Ed also arranged for a high-speed dsl line so that we could surf legal sites "live."

MacLaw Webmaster, Paul Samarin, created the web page from Susan's materials. We used the MacLaw.org site to navigate the Internet and wow the crowd.

It was a great success, and we celebrated with dinner afterwards.

Susan leads the lecture on Internet legal research
while Paul works the Lombard to surf the Web.

Paul explains that attendees need not write down
every URL Susan mentions,
because all of the links are available at:

MacLaw.org

Look at all those beautiful iMacs!
Note that the Lombard's screen resolution
has been reduced to 800 x 600. Although acceptable,
it would always be preferable to have a projector
which can project at your computer's best
resolution.

Most important rule of "Seminars 101":

Always leave 'em laughing!
